I have been a Senior DevOps Engineer at Delivery Hero in Berlin since December 2020. I work on Kubernetes
platforms running on Amazon EKS: I manage service deployments with Argo CD, upgrade our clusters to new
Kubernetes versions, and work with CAST AI to keep compute cost under control. I also run Apache Airflow
for data pipelines and look after the Salesforce release process from sandbox to production.
Before that I worked at EQS Group, Standard Chartered and Pratian Technologies. I moved a
production Docker Swarm cluster to Kubernetes, put infrastructure and pipelines into code with Terraform
and Jenkins, and built CI/CD for a healthcare application.
Recently I have been building AI agents in Python and MCP servers that help my team with everyday
operations work, such as automating Jira ticketing.
Manage deployments of microservices on Amazon EKS with Argo CD (GitOps). Changes go through Git pull requests and can be rolled back from Git.
Upgrade EKS clusters to newer Kubernetes versions (control plane, node groups, VPC CNI, CoreDNS), one environment at a time after checking for deprecated APIs.
Work with CAST AI for autoscaling, rightsizing and Spot instances to keep compute cost down.
Handle the Salesforce release process from sandbox to UAT to production, with CI/CD pipelines and test runs before every deployment.
Run Apache Airflow on Kubernetes for data pipelines, including upgrades, scaling and DAG deployments.
Monitor services with Prometheus, Grafana and Uptime Kuma and alert the team when an endpoint goes down.
Build AI agents in Python for daily DevOps tasks, and automated Jira ticketing with an MCP server.
